IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Redstone West Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Oklahoma City, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
