IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Fernwood Rowan Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
