IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Harborlight Forge Civic Services supports public agencies in Nashville with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
