IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Nova Ridge Insurance is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
