IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Bluepeak Union Facilities is a facilities company in Birmingham with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
