IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Northwind Rowan Telecom Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
