IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Cedar Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in San Diego. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
