IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Fernwood Willow Community Partners is a Baltimore charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
