IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Lumen Cross Facilities Partners looks after properties across the Birmingham region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
