IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Bright Rook Community Partners is a nonprofit in Miami supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 356 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
