IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Harborlight Umber Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Knoxville presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer programmes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
