IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Ironwood Meridian Hospitality Partners is a hospitality company in Virginia Beach with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with group events. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
