IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Harborlight Ember Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Tampa region, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
