IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Pine Markets Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
