IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Foxglove Yarrow Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Madison. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
