IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Amberfield West Energy is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
