IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Northwind Ember Markets Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
