IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Clearpath Wilder Insurance is an insurance company in Richmond with claims and service teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 462 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
