IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (remote)

Nova Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Tampa and nearby communities, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
