IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Raleigh, NC)

Harborlight Ridge Insurance Group is an insurance company in Raleigh with claims and service teams, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
