IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Providence, RI)

Bright Field Markets serves neighbourhoods around Providence with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 281 people based in Providence. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
