IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Providence, RI)

Harborlight Haven Property Management is a Providence property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
