IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Providence, RI)

Nova Granite Markets is a Providence retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
