IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Providence, RI)

Stonegate Wren Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Providence focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
