IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Portland, OR)

Summit Mill Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Portland with a full calendar of events, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 695 people based in Portland. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
