IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Thistle Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Portland, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
