IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Junction Construction is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for safety records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
