IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Hollow Arts Center Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for event logistics, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
