IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Forge Environmental Services Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
