IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Omaha, NE)

Northwind Pine Manufacturing is a Omaha manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
