IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Linden Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Oakland, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
