IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Kestrel Property Management is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for vendor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with vendor invoices. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
