IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Foxglove Hollow Freight is a New Orleans logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. We reward reliability. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
