IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Cobalt Manufacturing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 439 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
