IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Nashville, TN)

Cedar Forge Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
