IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Minneapolis, MN)

Bright Sparrow Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Minneapolis area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. We invest in training. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
