IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Minneapolis, MN)

Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
