IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Minneapolis, MN)

Bluepeak Kestrel Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 628 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
