IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Summit Stone Freight Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
