IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Miami, FL)

Fernwood Clear Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Miami. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a large organisation of about 779 people based in Miami. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
