IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Miami, FL)

Redstone Lantern Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Miami. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 188 people based in Miami. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
