IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Memphis, TN)

Fernwood Field Markets Partners is a Memphis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with store inventory. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
