IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Louisville, KY)

Cedar Umber Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Louisville, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
