IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Louisville, KY)

Stonegate Ember Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Louisville. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
