IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Umber Inspection Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. You would join a small organisation of about 123 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
