IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Kansas City, MO)

Nova West Environmental Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
