IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Jacksonville, FL)

Ironwood Granite Water Authority Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on asset tracking for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
