IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Jacksonville, FL)

Silverline Juniper Foods Group is a Jacksonville food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on asset tracking. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
