IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Jacksonville, FL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Mill Freight and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be asset tracking. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
