IT Support Specialist - asset tracking (Jackson, MS)

Ironwood Kestrel Staffing is a Jackson staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our asset tracking. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
